Matthew Pettineo

Mr. Pettineo serves as a Senior Vice-President and joined Cygnus Group in 2014. His primary roles include real estate credit underwriting, trading, performing investment analysis, internal daily reporting on investment performance and risk, research, and external reporting to clients.

Prior to his role at Cygnus Group, he worked at Susquehanna International Group and Morgan Stanley. His prior roles included a number of years as part of the Fixed Income Trading Operation with a focus on MBS trading execution, credit and interest-rate derivatives, and operational risk analysis. Mr. Pettineo has an M.B.A in Finance from Wake Forest and a B.A. in Economics from Muhlenberg College, including a semester at Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy.
